Yeah, it gets ugly.  My sisters & I have been at odds for years.  I've not 
spoken to the youngest since our mother's funeral.  I wrote all three of 
them in March to bury the hatchet & get back to being a family.  I've not 
heard from any of them.  If I ever become famous for anything, I have no 
doubt the books will come flying.  You can pick your friends, but you can't 
put the assholes in your family in a meatgrinder...

On the other hand, maybe his daughter has a lovely story about a wonderful 
father.  Probably not, though.....
