I was browsing around in Barnes and Nobles and they actually had several different collections available...the most tempting was a translation by Galway Kinnell. But instead I picked up a slick looking thing with a navy blue and gold toned dustjacket, had a photo of Rilke on the cover. It had a cross section of his poetry and prose, with the original German facing the English translation.

If I had it nearby I'd give you the name of the publisher and translator, but I'm sure before I get home to check someone else will already be able to tell you :)

The next book I'm going to buy is the collection of Lou Reed's poetry. If you look in it they took the time to REPRODUCE water stains, coffee stains, etc. It's riot :)
