I am no Clinton supporter and see him as an embarrassment as well, but I will
give him credit for at least initially making some of the changes in
government that needed to be made, and for always being proactive -- having
ideas for making changes, if not having plans I would necessarily want to see
implemented.

On the other hand, I tend to decide on a political candidate by the ultimate
goal he's moving America toward, and a statement in his debates with Bob Dole

told me worlds about why I could never trust him or the Democratic Party. Philosophically, they have so little faith in the American people that they really believe we're left alone unless the government helps us. Reagan, on the other hand, preached, "I'm not asking you to trust me, but I'm asking you to trust yourselves." Totally different philosophy.
