Wow- the exact antithesis of my beliefs. I think the only way out of the
fog is to realize that poiitics shouldn't be self interest but interest in
the welfare of all- including plants, animals, and inanimate matter;
Neo-Humanism.
Maybe there's some reconcilliation in that you can arrive at Neo-Humanism by
following through completely on self-interest, but it's still quite a
different approach.
