I attempted to "say something intelligent about him [JDS]" in:

1. An About Town Republican, 8:16 AM, 3/8/00, and

2. RE: An About Town Republican, 12:17 PM, 3/8/00.

I think I clearly state my position re Digressions in my post RE: Dull,
duller, dullest, 4:28 PM, 3/8/00.

My "even stupider" posts began _after_ the deafening silence to Tim's post
RE: An About Town Republican, 9:10 AM, 3/8/00. (I won't list those; they're
self-evident.)

In the future, I shall try harder to summon up appropriately "interesting
bandwagon"s for the list's perusal.
