there is a band called THE WYNONA RIDERS (sic), and on their website
they have the cover of a new album, called "J.D.Salinger", and
looking very much like the CR book cover, and they have the following
info:
"DISNEY wanted to make a version of "Catcher in the Rye', with Holden
Caulfield as a German Shepherd, for chrissakes! Michael J. Fox was
the voice of the dog. "The first thing you probably want to know is
like what litter I was born to, and all that Lassie kind of crap." "
