one last one before leaving for the weekend.
i too keep a good neurotic's calendar. tomorrow, 52 years ago, he committed
suicide. of course, i mean our seymour. and not that see more glass that
buddy concocted on a german typewriter that needed a whole lot more work.
(way before jd's nose *really* pointed east.)
yes, *that* march 18th: 1948. after the kiss of sybil's arch, after the
poem in japanese on the blotter, after opening a piece of luggage, after the
ortgies is aimed--darling, don't!
ten years i'd give to have sat in one of your english lectures at columbia.
ten years to have heard you on the radio. ten years to have lived in that
building on riverside drive.
darling, throw that stone at me!
