Ahem.....
It was a WONDERFUL tale wonderfully told, Cecilia!
But, ahem, "maroon"?!?!?!?!?!?!
In the immortal words of John Philip Sousa (or some other such brash bandsman):
"Three cheers for the maroon, white a blue!"
Only somebody who cheers for the Cubs (whose logo is apparently maroon,
white and blue....) could describe the glorious colour of the old paperback
Catcher as "maroon".....
(But if anybody can provide clues about the absolutely unique TEXTURE of
that wonderful cover, I'm all ears....)
Maroon! Mrufpff....
