Now to show my pride!

First Printing, Signet, March 1953, 25 cents (with the infamous front cover
consisting of the picture of Holden with a suitcase and the blurb: "This
unusual book may shock you, will make you laugh, and may break your heart -
but you will never forget it...") (Also contains a summary and criticism on
the back...)

23rd printing, Signet, September 1962, 50 cents (with the same cover as the
previous, only with a gold outline around the front cover...)

52nd printing, Bantam, February 1981, $2.50 (blood red cover with yellow
lettering)

I also have the latest hardback Little, Brown edition. Since it is currently
under the possession of a friend who wanted to be enlightened, I cannot
disclose the details.

My sister bought me the new hardcover book when I let her borrow my cheap,
white, mass-market paperback. I'm guessing she was moved! : )
