A question I posted a while ago about those unfortunate circumstances still
stands if anyone cares to answer, on list or off.
I also wanted to offer an apology. Charlotte, you joined just after Jim
left and for some reason I had an inexplicable burning suspician that it was
Jim in disguise. I made some comments to you that may have seemed puzzling
if not a little rude, I'm sorry for that. Try as I might, I just can't
completely shake the idea that maybe, perhaps you are Jim, and I struggled
with this for a while before finally coming to the conclusion that even if
it were so, it makes no real difference. For example, perhaps Jim was
actually just an alter ego of Camille herself, and all the drama was only a
show to feed a hungry ego and divert us from our true work of enjoying a
lima bean. But this is all silliness and whoever you might or might not be
I hereby grant you full human existential value in my mind and posts for the
sake of Bananafish everywhere.
