I own two paperback copies of Catcher, both are published by Bantam...

One is a 21st printing (sometime around late '68, early '69 I'd say) and the
cover is very very indisputably red. It's cover price is 75 cents.

My other one is 62nd printing from April of '86. The cover price is $2.95
(or for Paul it would have been $3.50), and the cover is very very
indisputably maroon.
