One hand clapping

Hello all,

Bart Simpson once "solved" the koan, posed by his sister
Lisa, by instantly announcing, "that's easy!" and clapping the
fingertips of his small yellow hand against the palm, making a
small clap. Try it--it works--(makes a sound anyway).

I have been lurking for awhile, and I should introduce
myself: My name is Michael Snyder. Aside from Salinger, I
enjoy Pynchon, Nabokov, DeLillo, D.F. Wallace; in music I like
the Beatles & much 60s rock, 50s/60s jazz, Radiohead, My Bloody
Valentine and hundreds more.
