Nathalie, what a fine post! Thanks! I saw Billy Collins read and
have one of his books and really appreciate your bringing to light
the Salinger link. As I read the poem, I knew Catcher/Salinger would
be in the ending stanza...I'm not certain, but I think Salinger has
collected more cultural references than any author, since, well (hi
