Subject: Suzanne Morine's art contest

Hi,
I am both puzzled and disappointed because
1. after Suzanne's invitation nobody seems to have contributed
anything to her art contest
2. nobody even cared to write something in her guestbook (!)
How is this possible, considering the fact that
a. this is, in my opinion, a very original idea, and
b. this mailing list is supposed to consist of people who love
Salinger and The Catcher?
Anybody out there who can unpuzzle me?
