It is huge, both disk-wise and screen-wise. The accompanying message ("A
byte too far?") made it clear to me that the entire point was to mail bomb
me. I assume he didn't make the image himself but got it off the Web. Bmp
files do not display in browsers. This clearly was a "joke." (But I think
that good humor requires some joy and warmth. Hell, at least a smiley face
in the email.)

That being said, it's easy enough to make a gif file so that you can all
see it for yourselves: in a browser and with 1/50th of the download time
(105K as opposed to 5.8megs). It's huge, and mostly white space.
