Hello Group,
My name is Nancy, I live in New York and I have two children. I joined
this group because I am hoping that someone might be able to offer some
assistance.
My daughter wrote a report for school. She compared Holden Caulfield and
Huckleberry Finn. We borrowed the books from the library and returned
them. The problem is she took out a couple of quotes and did not write
down the page numbers.
If you are familiar with the quotes I would really appreciate if if you
could let me know the page numbers:
Here are the Quotes:

"It's not too bad when the sun's out, but the sun only comes out when it
feels like coming out."

"You can't ever find a place that is nice and peaceful, because there
isn't any."

“All the kids kept trying to grab for the gold ring, and so was old
Phoebe, and I was sort of afraid she'd fall off the goddam horse, but I
didn't say anything or do anything. The thing with kids is, if they want
to grab for the gold ring, you have to let them do it, and not say
anything. If they fall off, they fall off, but it's bad if you say
anything to them.”

If anyone has Huckleberry Finn I need just one, from when he decided
to help Jim:

“All right then, I’ll go to hell!”

I know that this will be time consuming, but I really do appreciate your
assistance with my daughter's paper.
Thanks much,
NancyNY
