this is a declaration of my love for alexandra cushing, a devout member of
the group and a member of my family. i am planning on buying a book on april
30th to express not only my dedication to jd salinger but my love and
commitment to her. just because she grew up on a farm in south dakota doesnt
mean that she isnt a very special person to me. thank you very much.
ALSO, does anyone have any interest in discussing buddhism as salinger uses
it, through seymour's obvious interest and the possibility of nine stories
being a zen journey (beginning with seymour's death and having him be
reincarnated 8 times, ending with teddy...?)
