at the side of the dock waving our scrawny, potato-fed arms
in welcome to the great white bird sailing in across the water.
A few limes & bananas wouldn't go amiss.
A never-before-encountered cousin (I've only ever had three
in the wide world) is arriving from Coquitlam around the same
time. Is there some secret flight from the Americas in progress?
I hope you're sure about this marriage. It's a little disappointing
you never consulted me. Still, October is a fine month for the job.
Make it the 4th to coincide with our own 49th anniversary.
Can't wait.
