i just thought everyone might be amused to know that i have begun
giving out this listserve address to my friends so that they may witness the
massive, pretentious, puerile comic spectacles that have become our 'threads.'
 "never have i seen such schoolyard emotions in grown men," i say, trying to
sell them on it. "Never have I seen such vindictiveness in civilized people!"
