Who is

No one, so far as I can tell, is fearing Derrida. At the same time no one is
embracing him either. What most people requested was an
exlanantion-perferably a modest one- of decontructionism. Up to this point,
Omlor has the dubious title of resident expert, yours truly has been the
cantankerous skeptic, Jim the sometimes obsequious mentor, Scottie the well
of dry wit, Yocum the inquisitor, Robbie the eloquent rebutter and
you...funny, I don't ever remember you contributing anything memorable on
this topic or any others, for that matter.

Also, sometime ago Diego chimes in:
"It's a shame, Gedsudski, that your...what shall we say? Passion, is so
misdirected...How old did you say you were?"

I didn't. One of the rewarding elements of a discussion such as the one
mentioned above, is the beady eyes poking through the sand on this list.
Those lurkers, the strong silent types, whom speak with a heartfelt, juristic
air, buck the constipated speaking that otherwise defines their God-given
gift for prose. Bless their hearts, after thanking them for the picking and
the sniping, I ask you; without them where would this list be? Keep talking
Diego, we wouldn't have come to a definitive working definition and
satisfactory resolvement of the issue at hand without your insights.

On suggestion, though. Put a lid on the grandiloquence. You've still got a
year or two of undergrad work before you can make your voice heard. Until
then, I'm afraid, I envision you sleeping with the fishes.

Cordially,
