Re: A reading use as much of the text possible, what's my grade?

Seems like you can prevent yourself from speaking about the coming war as
soon as something vaguely french is evoked.
Seems like the only thing you're able to say about France requires the words
"spit", " (not) gallantly", and "maginot" or "Champagne". Seems like you
have a very narrow and reduced idea of what a country (in this case, mine)
is about.
Seems like your behavior forces me to take defense of my country, not
because I agree (or not, which is not even the point) with the policy
adopted by Chirac, but because you really work very hard to personnify what
a medium French ,with a strong inner desire to hate the US, expects to hear
to base and legimate this desire.
It's too bad: I am one of the rare persons around who explain all the things
I like in your country to my interlocutors , generally speaking, or in
Bush's position (yes, I have merit, but love is blind, right?), but each of
yours words comes and begins to nourish the roots of lurking (ah, these
lurkers, them again!) anti-americanism which seems to have been deeply
implanted (how? when?) in every little Europeans, including me, I'm afraid.
Seems like it's a sad knee jerk .
So, if someone , one day, spits in your coffee, somewhere in the world, it
would not be because you're american, but maybe just because you're odious.
Seems like I'm gonna take a shower (the French do that too).
Bye and cheers,
Valérie Aron
