Beware the Ides of March

Has anyone written any Poetry on things bananafishy? I haven't. When I try
to force it I end up with;

Rack My Brain

Contemplate, Contemplate
in my head I dive
open gate, open gate
out the cattle drive

sheep leaping, goats bleating
shove, shove, prod and pry
glassy, hazy, glazy, staring
blink, wink, squint my eye

sopping wet, dripping damp
like birds all thought scatters
concentrate, focus, compress and tamp
too sleepy for what matters
