Ok, which one leads and which one follows. If they alternate, when does which
one lead and which one follow?

I think if you started talking about, specifically, the way faith and reason
actually function in your life, you'd find they're often a lot more separate
then you want to admit, and that when they're really combined, reason is in the
service of faith.
