Am presently re-reading Twain's Letters From the Earth
in the voice of good ol' Satan, pre celestial
pink-slip, who is utterly perplexed by the creation
known as Man & Woman.

To trust or not to trust, I say 'don't go in there or you will regret it",
you go in and get your legs chopped below the knees, I say "you should have
trusted me". Too bad cranky Samuel Clemens didn't make his Adam and Eve
wiser.
