i don't think buddy 'has become Seymour's despised fat
Bananafish'. the last we really see of buddy (chron.
wise)is during the second half of 'seymour--an intro'.
buddy realizes several things: he's going to write
the story he most truly wants to read (the physical
description of seymour); that seymour is his davega
bicycle; that the terrible miss zabel (was it?) is as
much his sister as franny or boo boo; and that part of
his karma yoga is to go into that room and teach (it
too is holy ground).

i like daniel's idea of adding to the beaverboard. i
don't have any quotes on hand, though. i guess with
the perverse nature of 'the author', we could actually
include salinger quotes on seymour and buddy's board.

i hope aaron/john g. is back soon, if only as a 'sock
puppet'.
