But they are all so the same too. Urban lower class black folk who shoot
each other up and cause problems. Does that really stand for the majority
of African American youth? ANd what about Chicano, sexual minorities,
Asians etc etc
In general, film is an extremely biased and unrealistic form of media. I am
not trying to attack anyone when I say this. It is just so formulated at
this point that there is rarely anything true that comes across. (ANd not
true as in right, but as in something that seems to be real or actually mean
something). Or maybe I am just jaded and cynical at the ripe age of 21. <sigh>
