Man, do you *ever* shut up? You're one of the reasons people on this list
are afraid to speak up on *Salingerian* issues, much less interpersonal
ones. And I didn't ever say that you couldn't defend yourself, just that if
you reward yourself for not saying "fuck" in a post (sarcastic or otherwise)
in the same breath as chastising people for not sticking to the "true
salingerian beliefs" or some crap, you're a bigger hypocrite than I.

On an actually salinger-related topic (my dear god in heaven, really?!), has
anyone else ever felt like seymour did when he threw the rock at charlotte
in RHTRBC? I did today (or at least think i did), and it was really cool.
you know, where she was being too beautiful so he threw a rock at her head?
