May I suggest, Andrew, that you re-read the section of CITR in which Holden
is rubbing out "Fuck You"'s. This is not to say that everyone who reads
salinger must abhor swearing. But you certainly don't have to worship at the
altar of the word "Fuck". Also, did you notice that when there was a
sprinkling of "goddamn"s in a post, no one complained. it's a matter of
usage levels and decency. I have been known to use the "f-word" a bit
myself, but please don't attack people for *not* using it and being
relatively offended when you do.
You still have the right to curse, but don't attack people for objecting.
