He was an innocent bystander.
He was an Innocent Bystander.
He was an "Innocent Bystander."
HE was an innocent bystander.
He WAS an innocent bystander.
He was an "innocent" bystander.
He was an innocent "Bystander."
Look also at the work of Leonard Cohen. ee cummings. The conventions of
prose are startlingly limiting. The use of He vs he, implicating "God"
rather than "Man."
The Bicycle is a more godly thing than the bicycle. He is a more godly
person than he.
Names are capitalized...why?
Personally I feel everything should be capitalized and signatures should
be lowercase. I should be lowercase and Fish should be capitalized.
We knock the grammar deity on its head (Its Head) and keep Him pinned for
good.
Of course, "Grammar Police" is supposed to be capitalized, as all names
are, but creative writing is not.
