Before you all think I am just a memory, let me remind you that I'm still
here...

For those who don't know, I run the Bananafish web page and set up this
mailing list two years ago. I'm happy to see how it's blossomed and lived
(thanks to everyone else's work, not mine) and I have been happy to see it
come in over the last years.

I have been silently lurking for quite a while, since giving the list up
for adoption last Summer. Its new home has worked out well!

I've recently retouched the Bananafish pages a little. Has anyone got the
missing publication data for the non-missing stories???

In case you care, since then I have moved to Houston, TX (from loverly
Central Massachusetts). I've recently bought a house (my first!!) and my
wife and I are eagerly awaiting move-in day.

I've been interviewed for an article on literary web sites to be published
in GQ (of all places) this Spring, so be on the lookout! You might have
also seen my name in last week's PC Week if you're "in the industry" like
me...

As a dead president (who? Eisenhower?) once said "I ain't never learned
nothin' by talkin'" so I am happy to sit back and listen. Keep it up,
folks! Maybe I'll post from time to time.

Then Lawlor said something to me that sent a terrific thrill up my back. He
bent over slightly and leaned across my desk. "I want action," he said.
"Can't you understand that? I want action."
