I still haven't seen any refuting of this TCIR movie business (please,
PLEASE - April Fools Day isn't for DAYS!) but it IS a joke, right ?
Especially Kubrick - he of the hatchet job on `Lolita' and Coppola - he of
the mutilation of `The Outsiders' not even fit to be politely called a
hatchet job - say it ain't so, or at least tell me they're getting Richard
Linklater to direct and, I don't know, River Phoenix to star !!??
Actually, there's an interesting question - who would you guys out there
choose to play Holden, if such a vastly improbable thing were to happen?
Before he became `King of the WORLD!' I might have said Leonardo di Caprio
(boy will I get flamed for that!)
