brendan,  i agree with your views on asking for autographs, but in the right
context, asking for advice or assistance doesn't seem that bad.  every
starving artist is just looking for a break.  and if that break is somehow
getting jds to glance at your work, hell, i wouldn't so much as blink before
jumping at the opportunity...matt
