hello everybody
my name is nadja. i'm new to this list and just got a mail advising me to
introduce myself to you. ok, so i do.
i'm 18 yrs, live in germany and jds is one of my fave author's.
the reason why i joined this list is i have to do an essay and a report about
the generation conflict in "the catcher in the rye" (and maybe in the glass
books), and i thought you might help me with some opinions on this.
what i have so far is
1.that the book critizes what school teaches to kids
2.it critizises the hypocrazy of adults and holden wants to beware the
children thereof
3.similarities to "huckleberry finn"
4.the use of certain ideas/images from poems from rainer maria rilke
("the caroussel" and "childhood")
ok, i hope you can maybe give some more ideas about
cu nadja
