I've been thinking about this a bit, and how about we just include the

prior to any discussion of this topic?

PS I don't know what it's like in other parts of the world, but here in
the States it's impossible to have a rational discourse on either this
topic or the abortion issue (or the Clinton impeachment issue, but at
least that one got settled quickly). It's all flame and inflammatory
rhetoric aimed at the opposition from both sides.
Could you tell?
