OK....... I've checked it out with two HIGHLY literate Russian friends, and
NEITHER of them has ever heard anything about Fyodor doing dastardly deeds
with young (too young) women......
(One of them DID say that from her memory of being taught "classical"
Russian authors, there was NO sex!--although it was rumoured that Puskin's
wife once had sex with somebody, not Pushkin........)
The ball (so to speak) is in YOUR court, Camille.....

OSO--Rick informs me (privately, although I don't think I'm breeching any
confidence by going public) that Keats MUST be represented on Allie's
baseball mitt..... He suggests "Grecian Urn" and/or "Nightingale"...... I
suspect (from my personally biased preference) it would more likely be
"Autumn".....
Because the Blue Jays always won the World Series in the season of mellow
fruitfulness......
