I am deeply chagrined to say that I've never read any Australian philosophy
before - in a rare show of practicality I decided to eschew philosophy at
University - but I'll have to chase some up. I was most disappointed not to
see any of my Oz bretheren receive awards at the Auscahs (will someone tell
me who this odd deity Gard is, that movie stars and singers always choose
to thank in their acceptance speeches? (: )

So it took a PhD to finally convince you we're not a nation of cane-toad
smoking dullards. I for one am pleasantly surprised (:
