Count me in on the Hemingway admirers here, though I'm certainly more
enamored, if you please, with Old Ernie's short stories than I am his
novels. Of course, I've read all the stories and only Farewell and Old Man
to date--so I'm a little biased. As an aside, "Hills Like White Elephants"
contains one of my favorite lines ANYwhere:

      Would you please please please please please please please stop talking?
