You put your left foot in,
You pull your left foot out....

It wasn't until I'd read Scottie's masterpiece--near the end of digest Vl
#131, which is the first time I've dipped into the list in weeks--that I
realized how much I've missed you all.

(Tim, if you're reading this, I guess you'd best put this cyberpeasant--all
toes when it comes to computers--back into the main bananafishbowl, and away
from digest format....)

There are obviously new fry here that I've yet to meet. Cheers! I hope
that my reputation hasn't preceded me.

How about them Blue Jays?!?! (Oops, I promised Cecilia that I'd never again
mention baseball in the fishbowl, since it's always a sore point for someone
from Chicago....) (I also promised her that I'd cut back on the exclamation
marks, but I'm beginning to think I'm an addict!)

Didn't Rick try to bring up "feet" as a topic about a million and a half
years ago? Has anybody heard from Rick and/or Mirjam?

I feel like I've been away forever, fishes....

Cheers,

Paul

OSR--I was about to quote one of the unanswerable questions in the Bard of
Afton's great poem that gave its name to Jerry's greatest work. But I'm
ASTOUNDED to learn that "COMIN' THRU THE RYE" is NOT quoted in Bartlett
(which is the only even vaguely relevant reference book that I find around
my office at this depressingly late hour.) So I'll have to wing it (sorry,
Scottie) "Gin a body, greet a body, comin' thru the rye?"
