Zack need have no fear for his future. I see him as the youngest
occupant of the Chair of Comparative Literature at Princeton
well before the end of the decade. But what about the implications
of his work?
I can think of at least two alternatives:
1) Salinger is even less original & more of a plagiarist than
many trusting souls feared.
2) Jung’s archetypes ride again in a more highly specified
form than his most ardest followers ever claimed.
There must be others.
