Welcome back, Stew. All is pretty much the same around here. What's the
NHL? All these American sporting references are very alienating for us
poor Brits!

I wonder if anyone can help me with a little query? I seem to recall
that Salinger was furious with the changes made to the British edition
of 'Nine Stories' (new title and new order for the stories). Is this
right? I can't recall where I got the idea from. If anyone has any more
info I would be very grateful.
