RE: No, this isn't an Onion article

Is anyone familiar with the treatment that Amnesty internat'l declared
torture? It involved British interrogation techniques for captured IRA
members involving cloaking their heads, standing them against a wall and
blaring static, ie white noise at them? Apparantly, because of how the mind
works, after an hour or so of this, it becomes impossible to lie to a
question posed. I always wondered if the Jesuit form of lying would work
against this? It works against truth serum, and even works on a legal
stance in court.
