I don't know that I can nail down one philosopher as a source, but I do
know that John Stuart Mill defended utilitarianism against the charge
that it was a "pig philosophy" on the basis that there are pleasures
suited to a human being and pleasures suited to a pig.

Undermining, of course, the premises of his utilitarianism. But it
sounded in the ballpark.
