Greetings from Amazon.com,

We have recently been informed by the publisher that the release date
for J. D. Salinger's 'Hapworth 16, 1924' has been moved back to
December of this year.

We're as eager to see this book as you are, and we have been assured
that it *will* be released, though the exact publication date is not
yet fixed. There can be unexpected delays in the publication process,
especially with a title that is generating as much demand as this one,
and unfortunately such delays are beyond our control. We always
remain in frequent contact with our suppliers to make sure that we can
get newly released books to you as quickly as possible.

We hope this delay isn't *too* frustrating. Salinger has always
refused to take the conventional route, and it looks like he's running
true to form with the publication of this book. Keep your fingers
crossed, and 'Hapworth 16, 1924' should be with you in time for
Christmas.

Best regards,
