I, too, am re reading S:AI. You mentioned the pedal pushers. I found this
to be a hopeful statement that Buddy, although trying hard to sound like a
"flacid bottomed forty year old" still had enough life in him to notice a
fine set of pedal pushers (tight shorts on a girl). I am a little unclear on
your foot fetish connection, perhaps you might elaborate? This paragraph
really made me invision Buddy at his girls college and what it was really
like. He didn't seem to have too bad an existence.
