..An interesting topic, though. Many of us have wondered a lot of things
about JDS, but it never occurred to me to wonder what kind of music he
listens to. I think my problem here is I can't manage to envision
Salinger in the 60's. In the decade, I mean. I have this feeling that
when the time came to buy a 1961 calender, he simply pulled out and dusted
off a 1951 calender. I'm beginning to regret having suggested that JDS
didn't/doesn't listen to the Dead. I'd like officially to withdraw the
statement, replacement pending...
