Marcy, are you saing TIF is included in a collection of salinger stories
in japan--can you cite your source? curious will

ps in reading RHTRBC today, I felt strongly that the best expalnation for
seymour loving muriel (aside from her stunning resemblance to charlotte
hayhew) may be found on p91 of the bantam edition...the last entry in
Seymour's journal says, "How terrible it is when you say I love you and
the person on the other end shouts back 'What'?"  Muriel loves seymour and
that may be enough for one who reads Vedanta texts and understands
marriage is service, and that people don't belong to each other but to
god.
