I was wondering if anyone had noticed the pressnce of chicken in some of 
Salingers stories?  In Franny and Zooey there is the chicken broth and 
chicken sandwhich.  In Just before the war with Eskimos there is the 
half eaten chicken sandwhich given to Gennie, which reminds her of the 
dead easter chick she kept in her pocket after it's death, she also put 
the sandwhich in her pocket.  
I don't know if there are any other mentions of chicken.....but I was 
wondering if anyone knew weither it was coincidence or something else?
