i think this was originally from thor, but i didn't have time to respond to it
then.  you don't protect kids by teaching them to find specific things as
distasteful as you do.  you do it by teaching them how to judge individual
situations.  the only way to be prepared for every possible moral quandary is
to be "ready" for none of them...matt, who will be leaving the list soon and
wishes to thank everyone for making the last 2-1/2 years in this intellectual
hell a little more bearable.  i will rejoin when i can.
