I just saw a brief segment concerning the 'letter auction' on CBS Nightly News (I
think it was).  Maynard stated that when she visited "Jerry" two years ago he was
hostile toward her and accused her of exploitation with the book, interviews and all
pertaining to their relationship.  She then replied something to the effect of,
"Someone on this doorstep has exploited another on this doorstep.  I leave it up to
you to meditate on that."  Hmm......
