Anna, I believe, was interested in why Seymour committed suicide.
One nice place to start might be Matt Kuzosko's essay on the subject
on Sunny's (Sundeep Dougal's) web page. The URL is:

This gets you directly to the section of the faq dealing with Seymour's
suicide. It contains one of the interesting explanations which have
been offered. Sunny's pages are themselves wonderfully interesting, and
